I half-expected Shizuma-sama to do what she tried to do a few episodes ago. But she didn't.

She CRIED.

I also half-expected this house [whoever it belongs to] to have a giant bath aka swimming pool size onsen like Chikane's. And I expected them to, uh, well, take a bath in that imaginary swimming pool together. They didn't. *shrugs*

Well, nothing really happened in this episode. Shizuma-sama broke down thinking about Sakuragi Kaori [the only useful bit of info released this ep: her name] being gone and blahblah. Nagisa-chan knows that she can't be the replacement and runs off.. blahblahblah.

[They walk. They eat Tamao-chan's food. They walk again.]

[It rains. Shizuma-sama gives Nagisa-chan the key that Rokujou-san had and opens the door to this weird house.]

[It kinda looks like a mom and her daughter... :/...]
["And her name was... Kaori." *THUNDER*]

[Shizuma-sama telling Kaori she'll be fine, since she's with Nagisa-chan now.]

[Dun dun dun, and she sees Kaori.]

[She really looks like Chikane >_<.]
[Shizuma = uke.]

[Okay, so Nagisa-chan runs off. Out of the house. Out in the rain. And then Shizuma-sama comes. And then Nagisa-chan runs back in the house <_<...]

[Left before Shizuma-sama woke up. Who knew she was such a sleepy head...]

[Nagisa-chan returns, and collapses on Tamao-chan.]
[And this episode ends with a "Shizuma... you're still..."]

LOL, anyone see the [LQ caps] in the title? Yup, I'm gonna do a HQ one once I find a good raw.. I know a place that releases HEY!x3 raws but the July 3rd one isn't out yet, and I can't wait that long =\.

Haruhiists who haven't heard the radio CD should, specially the original jingle track... LMFAO! It was so funny... and did anyone notice the irony?

Hirano Aya [Suzumiya Haruhi] -> really polite [btw, I find her pronunciation of the r sound a bit weird for a Japanese person o_O;;]
Chihara Minori [Nagato Yuki] -> really talkative <_<
Gotou Yuuko [Asahina Mikuru] -> really... un-mikuru like. Interestingly eldest of the group, like how Mikuru-chan was.

Anyway, back to HEY!x3. Lol, of course we all know most versatile seiyuu can switch from a high-pitched voice to a low-pitched one, but who knew Aya-sama could such a drastic change in less than 3 seconds...

[Before the interview starts, we see a live concert for "God knows..." for like 30 seconds.] The interview first starts out with asking if Aya-sama is a university student right now, "Sou desu!" in a really REALLY high voice and the audience ~~starts swoon~~ as well as the hosts are really surprised.

Hamada [host #2]: THAT WAS TOTALLY DIFFERENT FROM YOUR SONG JUST THEN!
Aya-sama : This is my normal voice!
Audience: EEEEEHHHH!

The hosts reveal that Aya-sama went in showbiz at 9 and became a seiyuu at 14 [more EHHHHH-ing]. Aya-sama starts talking about how she liked anime from when she was little [Did I hear right?] and Matsumoto [host #1] starts mimicking Aya-sama [in a bad way of course XD].

The rest of the interview remains a mystery to me <_<.. but I think Hamada asked Aya-sama to do her mature voice, and in a couple of seconds we already hear a very deep "Dame deshou, Hamada-san"~~, which got all the fangirls swooning.~~ I completely got lost around there, only something about Rascal-san and stuff =\.

Then I picked it up again, when Aya-sama was making nicknames for the two hosts... Hamada became Hamatis Shoui [Ensign] and Matsumoto became Matsumotinu Taisa [Captain]. The interview pretty much ends shortly afterwards.

I think Aya-sama was a bit too nervous though [well, jeez, if you were only 18 [+ has a job that's more of a 'behind the scenes' thing] and on a show that's being watched nationally, you'd be nervous too], since her voice seems a bit higher than her more moderated one.

Excuse the alhfdlahdsf-ness of this kahfdlkjdkha raw.

A bit dissapointed in the ending...

Sometimes I want to kill Kyon because we're looking at the world from his POV =\.

Anyways.. exactly like the chapter as it had been presented. The music was a bit weird when the shinjin/celestial started to appear though. It sounded like it was a good thing o_o. LOL, the ponytail scene made me laugh. The Mikuru-chan "I THOUGHT I WAS NEVER GOING TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" scene was funny too XD.

They actually presented the title of the anime in English, even if they didn't capitalize "melancholy" =\.

I don't need to say that there are spoilers here, right?

BTW, Kunikuda and Tsuruya-san didn't get to appear ;_;. Taniguchi only appeared for the "WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU DOING IN THE CLASSROOM ALL ALONE WITH NAGATO YUKI" scene.

["Actually, an alien."]

[Kyon's ~~excuse~~ story...]

[Yuki was the victim of Haruhi's unreasonable occupation of the Literature Club room, so she went to Kyon for help. They went to discuss it in a place where Haruhi wouldn't find out [the classroom]. Suddenly, Yuki fainted from anemia, and Taniguchi walked in.]

[Taniguchi: Liar!
Kyon: Damn...]
[Special intermission by the interesting credits]

[I find it somewhat hilarious that Yuki is staring at this, lmfao.]

[Haruhi walks in and gets pissed off at Mikuru-chan's flirting with Kyon.
Haruhi: We need to change.
Kyon: ... [note: Haruhi usually doesn't care about Kyon being there.]
Haruhi: I said, we need to change.
Kyon: So?
Haruhi: SO GET OUT!!!]

["Mikuru-chan, sit here." As noted by Kyon in the novel, this would've been a heartwaming scene with two sisters, except for the fact that Mikuru-chan was scared to death and Haruhi is staring a hole in her head.]

[And it begins...]

[The diameter of this closed space is limited to the school grounds.]

[OMG, so cute, Haruhi clinging onto Kyon XD.] [Haruhi, you know the phones don't work because you didn't want them to <_<.]

[Koizumi here. After 3 min of talking about how Kyon was here because Haruhi wished for him to be here [or did she?], he says that Kyon and Haruhi are the Adam and Eve of this world. "Work hard to repopulate this world, okay?" XD! Koizumi relays the last messages of Mikuru-chan and Yuki to Kyon: "Sorry, it's my fault" and "Turn on the computer."]

[YUKI.N> Can you read this?]
[Yuki explains the situation to him, and that the Integrated Data Entity is very dissapointed that the data spurt suddenly dissapeared from this world, for they will lose the ability to auto-evolve. Yuki says she's counting on Kyon, and hopes that they can both return to this world, one because someone like Suzumiya Haruhi who can create massive amounts of data out of nothing may only appear once in a universe and two, she wants Kyon to come back too.]

[YUKI.N> Let us go to the library again next time.
YUKI.N> sleeping beauty
<screen fades>]

[The computer is disconnected, and a shinjin appears.]

[Haruhi is excited while Kyon tries to get her to change her mind.]
[Kyon: What about the SOS-dan!? You created that club! You're just gonna leave it?
Haruhi: I really don't care anymore, since I'm already experiencing something exciting, there's no need for me to go out and search for mysterious events!
Kyon: But, I want to return to the original world.]

[Haruhi lets go, because she doesn't understand what Kyon is saying...]
[Kyon: Before we ended up in this situation, I didn't realize how much I liked my life the way it was. There I have the idiot Taniguchi, Kunikuda, Koizumi, Nagato, and Asahina-san, and even the vanished Asakura.
Haruhi: ... What are you talking about?]

[Kyon: I really want to see those friends again. I have many things I want to tell them.
Haruhi: We will see them! This world won't be covered in darkness forever; once morning comes, the sun will come up. I'm sure of it.
Kyon: It's not like that... This world isn't what you think it is. I really want to see those friends again.
Haruhi: I don't get what you're talking about...]
[<Kyon's POV> Looking at Haruhi, I remembered Nagato's "evolution possibility", Asahina-san's "temporal distortion", and Koizumi treating her as "God." But to me, what is Haruhi? Haruhi is Haruhi, what else is there to say? I got it! Didn't Asahina-san (older one) say something about the story of Snow White? And Nagato's last message... Snow White and Sleeping Beauty, please, even I know what that means!]

[<Kyon> Man, this is so lame... *grabs Haruhi*
Haruhi: What now?
Kyon: You know, I really like you in a ponytail.
Haruhi: ... What?
Kyon: I don't know when, but since then, I can't stop thinking of you in a ponytail. I think that suits you best.
Haruhi: What are you trying to pull?]

[I'm not sure if kissing while a shinjin is hovering over you is considered romantic or not...]

[The shinjins start to dissapear...]

[... and Kyon realizes he's back to his bed.]

[And the very next morning, Haruhi comes to school in a ponytail <_<... Haruhi thinks she had a nightmare last night.]

[LOL, trying to avoid his gaze, huh? I can understand, dreaming of him kissing you suddenly XD!]
[Final ending song - Bouken Desho Desho?]

["I thought you'd never... (sniff)... return to this... (sniff)... world..."]

[Just about to hug Mikuru-chan back...]
["No, you can't. If Suzumiya-san sees this, the same thing will happen again!"]

[Kyon: Oh yeah, Asahina-san, you've got a star-shaped birthmark over here on your chest.
Mikuru: H...how did you know!? I didn't even know myself! When did you find out?!]

["Mikuru-chan! You're tired of maid costumes, right? Come! Time to change!"]

[The "Search for Mysterious Events" is still going, but all three of the other members couldn't attend today, which leaves Haruhi and Kyon left.]
[<Kyon> I need a good topic before I can start a conversation with her. Ah, I've already decided what to say. That's right, I've decided......

......To talk about aliens, time travelers, and espers first, of course.]

OTL, it's finally over. Well, caps within 5 hours and 30 min of the broadcast in Japan isn't too bad, right?

Now I must go do other things, I might edit this later. I really really enjoyed this series...

Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu 13 - Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu IV

OMGOMG FIRST NOVEL ENDING OMGOMG WEWT!

As I expected, this episode was showing off Itsuki's powers. Except... well, the whole battle lasted less than 5 seconds. I swear. And it was mainly a dialogue episode too.

I don't know, this is my first episode in which I've read the chapter first, rather than the other way around. I thought it kinda paled in comparison to the other episodes...

The episode starts off with Haruhi and Kyon going to Asakura Ryouko's apartment, trying to find anything suspiscious, blahblahblah. They were just about to leave, when they accidentally [well, I bet you Yuki knew this was gonna happen anyway] bumped into Yuki. Haruhi notices that Yuki's glasses were gone [reference to episode 10], and Yuki looks at Kyon. Kyon is all like "why are you looking at me?" But Haruhi didn't expect an answer anyway. Just as they are about to leave, Yuki tells Kyon to be careful.

This part was kinda odd to me... Haruhi suddenly launched into a whole talk about what happened when she was in grade 6... and I MEAN SUDDENLY! She talks about how she realized that she was only one person from one out of two thousandths of the population of Japan [or something like that.. I forget.], and starts angsting. After the whole talk, Haruhi goes home by herself. Kyon also goes home, but meets Itsuki before he goes in. They also skipped the part where Kyon told his sister he was gonna go out for a little while... anyways, the whole very long taxi conversation which I didn't even bother to understand since I read it already anyway. Itsuki takes Kyon to a sealed dimension [or closed space, closed reality, whatever], but the complete silence wasn't even touched on at all by KyoAni, a shame. Itsuki's battle lasts 3 seconds, and soon they're out of the sealed dimension. Kyon goes home, and it ends..

It was also very interesting how Haruhi was by herself in the credits while Kyon and the others were all on the next screen. Haruhi got all pissed off at Kyon in the preview, too. Building up for the next episode, hmmm?

Can't wait for Yuki's famous quote x_x. Caps now, haha.

Officially "the calm before the storm". Last episode is gonna OWN. And I'm willing to bet anyone here that Kyon is not going to be 'thinking' anything when he <spoiler>s Haruhi, like what he did in the novel.

Mikuru-chan didn't even show up ;_;.

[Old man telling Kyon not to let go of his "girlfriend", she's gonna grow up into a fine lady.]

[Haruhi: Oh yeah, what happened to your glasses?]

[Haruhi didn't expect an answer.. =\. Yuki tells Kyon to be careful.]

[Sealed dimension, closed space, whatever.]

[Those red spheres are Itsuki's acquaintances. AKA fellow espers.]

[And the giant is cut down.]
